Ingredients

Main Ingredient Group

500g full cream milk powder
0.5cup cream
0.5cup melted Stork Baking Margarine
2cups sugar
0.5cup milk
125g cubed Stork Bake
1cup coconut
1tsp rose essence
0.75cup sliced, toasted almonds

Step by step method

  1. Place milk powder, cream and melted Stork Bake in a food processor or bowl and mix evenly.
  2. Combine sugar and milk, stir and bring to boil until thick and frothy for 5 minutes.
  3. Add cubed Stork Bake and cook for further 2 minutes.
  4. Add coconut, rose essence and milk powder mixture.
  5. Mix well until mixture leaves the sides of saucepan.
  6. Scoop mixture out into a ring mould or a small swiss roll tray.
  7. Sprinkle almonds over and leave aside to cool before cutting into bars.
