Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

250g flour
200g Stork Baking Margarine
1 egg
1 pinch of salt
1tbsp sour cream (if necessary)

Filling Ingredients

250g feta cheese
100g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
2 eggs
1tbsp Stork Baking Margarine
250g cherry tomatoes
1 chopped pepper
1 clove garlic
Fresh herbs (basil, thyme)
1 Bag of dried beans for blind baking

Step by step method

  1. Pour the flour and a pinch of salt into the bowl. Add Stork Bake and one egg. Mix everything with the mixer and knead it quickly. If the dough does not knead, add a tablespoon of sour cream
  2. Grease the tin for the tart (with the diameter of 26cm) with Stork Bake and sprinkle it with flour. Roll out the dough and cover the bottom and sides of the tin with it. Prick it with a fork. Insert the tin with the dough into the freezer for 10 minutes. Cover the dough with a piece of parchment and put the bag of beans on it. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes at 200°C.
  3. Chop garlic and fry it with peppers in a tablespoon of melted Stork Bake. Chop herbs.
  4. Mix feta cheese with eggs, add the fried peppers, herbs and grated cheese. Mix everything together.
  5. Remove the beans and the parchment from the tin. Put the cheese on the cake and level the surface.
  6. Press tomatoes into the cheese. Place your tart in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C
