Mix the yeast, sugar and warm water in a bowl, sprinkle with some flour and leave to froth.
In another bowl, mix ingredients together with the yeast mixture.
Stir with a spoon and turn onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, adding flour. The dough should be soft, but not sticky.
Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and a cloth and leave in a warm place to rise and double in size.
Place on a floured surface. Knock back and knead lightly.
Shape the dough into a loaf, bread rolls, focaccia or pizza base. Place on a greased oven tray and allow to double in size.
Bake in a preheated oven 150 - 180°C until golden and when you tap the bottom it sounds hollow.
